Skit Note
Piece of paper masquerading as a banknote. It differs from a counterfeit in that its design parodies that of a genuine note often for political satirical or advertising reasons. Others were produced as April Fools' Day jokes or a form of Valentine (eg, the Bank of Lovers). In recent years they have been produced as advertising gimmicks, or as coupons permitting a discount off the list price of goods.
